Why can’t I pay for alcoholic beverages in cash?

As of 25 July 2024, payments for the purchase of alcoholic beverages by business entities are accepted exclusively in cashless form. These changes are due to the adoption of the Law of Ukraine “On State Regulation of the Production and Circulation of Ethyl Alcohol, Distillates, Bioethanol, Alcoholic Beverages, Tobacco Products, Tobacco Raw Materials, Liquids Used in Electronic Cigarettes, and Fuel.”
